Abstract Iolite Sterling Silver Pendant SP531

Iolite is a gem-quality variety of the mineral cordierite, known for its vibrant blue to violet-blue colour, which can also display yellow-Gray or honey tones depending on the viewing angle due to its pleochroic nature. It is often called "water sapphire" due to its resemblance to sapphire but is typically not as saturated in colour and can exhibit colour zoning. Iolite is a new gemstone in the jewellery market, gaining popularity as an affordable alternative to Tanzanite or Sapphire.
