Our Story

WildSky was born from a dream in May 2023 and brought to life on Skyla's first birthday, 28 September 2023. Founded by Michael and Lizandi Smit, our luxury bath & body range is a fusion of entrepreneurial passion, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

Inspired by our fearless and vibrant second child, Skyla, WildSky embodies strength, courage, and the untamed beauty of life. She reminded me of who I was at my core - before becoming a wife and mother - giving me the courage to pursue this dream. We wanted to create something meaningful, inspired by our love for Africa's breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife.

About Our Logo

Every detail of our logo tells a story. "Wild" reflects Skyla's bold, free spirit, while "Sky" represents both her name and the stunning African skies we are lucky to witness every day. The Africa-shaped leopard print is a powerful symbol of strength, power, and resilience - qualities that define both our little muse and the heart of this brand. The leopard, a true icon of the African wild, embodies independence, confidence, and an untamed spirit - just like Skyla.
