This beautiful Savanna Knysna Loerie Elephant head, is painted by Cape Town artist Sharon Boonzaier, 

This striking sculpture is inspired by themes of our natural Southern African heritage; this elusive yet striking emerald green and red bird, the Loerie, or Turaco, as it is also called, can be spotted hopping from branch to branch in thick African coastal forests.

The piece is finished with gold leaf and signed by the artist. 

No one piece is the same and each unique head is an artwork to behold.

The sculpture comes flat-packed with clear instructions on how to assemble and hang as well as a story about the artist.
